1) The Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum, which for a half-century has enchanted millions of visitors with its exhibits of live animals in astonishingly natural settings. At the same time, the Museum has gained a worldwide repute in the scientific community as an institution committed to researching and protecting the land, plants, and the animals of the Sonoran Desert region.

The Desert Museum is a zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden, all in one place! Exhibits re-create the natural landscape of the Sonoran Desert Region so realistically you find yourself eye-to-eye with mountain lions, prairie dogs, Gila monsters, and more. Within the Museum grounds, are more than 300 animal species and 1,200 kinds of plants. 2) The Pima Air and Space Museum. History takes flight at one of the largest air and space museums in the world, and the largest non-government funded aviation museum. You’ll see more than 300 aircraft and spacecraft including many of the most historically significant and technically advanced craft ever produced, both from the United States and throughout the world. Seniors and military admission $13.95.
3) Old Tucson Studios, a western town originally built as the set for the 1939 movie Arizona. In the years since, Old Tucson has been used for the filming of numerous westerns. Passing through the gates, guests are transported back to a time when fearless men with six shooters ruled the Old West. Saunter down the streets of Hollywood’s most famous movies; walk in the footsteps of movie legends like John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and hundreds more.  In addition to its historic role as a film location, Old Tucson Studios is Southern Arizona’s premier outdoor entertainment venue with a full array of live shows, thrilling stunts, Old West dramas, saloon musicals, trail rides and fun for all.
